Trecho da letra de "City Of Blinding Lights" teria vindo de "Last Night On Earth"

O U2 desenvolveu "City Of Blinding Lights" de uma canção chamada "Scott Walker", um outtake do álbum de 1997, 'POP'. Eles reescreveram a canção para o seu álbum de 2004, 'How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb'.
Mas ao que parece, não foi só de "Scott Walker" que "City Of Blinding Lights" teve origem.
Note que um trecho da canção "Last Night On Earth" de 'POP', é:

"The more you take, the less you feel. The less you know the more you believe."
Uma frase de "City Of Blinding Lights" é muito similar ao trecho de "Last Night On Earth": "The more you see the less you know".
